This beautiful song could have been used for one of those Humphrey Bogart vehicles with Lauren Bacall, or any other film noir. That's at least what I think when I'm listening to it.

It features Fran Warren with her smoky, sultry voice, a fantastic chart by Bill Borden ("Claude always had me arranging all those pop tunes"), played by the softly cantillating Claude Thornhill Orchestra.
