National Recording Artist and Contemporary Jazz musician Gerald Albright shines the spotlight on 30 (the Deluxe Version released May 18, 2018) by re-introducing a few tracks from his successful recordings from the past years. Those tracks include his smooth & jazzy vibes of “Bermuda Nights” and “New Beginnings”. Then there’s the very popular “Just Between Us” which was Gerald’s first album release in 1987. Jazz music listeners will really enjoy this “Deluxe Version” album. It includes some funky jazz tunes like “Sooki Sooki” and “On the Floor”, which features Ricky Watford. The highlight of the album, in my opinion, is the soft groove “Come Back to Me”, which includes the smooth vocals of singer Selina Albright [Gerald’s daughter]. Actually, the 30 album is much more…and could very well turn out to be an Albright album collector item for Gerald’s fans. It’s a testament…a celebration of Gerald’s accomplishments over the years as a highly-skilled multi-instrumentalist and self-producer of music, demonstrating his capability to sustain within the competitiveness of contemporary jazz music for several decades.
