Description

The opening track on Ghost’s latest album, Skeletá, is an absolute banger. This song has all the signature elements of a classic Ghost anthem: theatrical vocals, anthemic melodies, and powerful dynamics.

That choral/chorale section immediately took me back to the vibe of Meliora—one of my favorite Ghost eras. From a drummer’s perspective, I really enjoyed how the china cymbal is used more like a textured layer than just a crash for big accents. It makes the groove feel unique and cinematic.
