How has God been good to me?
A question that I ponder over in my heart, and there’s so much to be said.

But I will never forget that one point in my life when everything was dark. Those sleepless nights when I just wanted to cry and disappear from the face of this earth. When I felt so broken, helpless, and alone.

I cried out to him, and he met me right there.
In the middle of the pain, frustration, and tears.

Even when I ran away from Him
Still, his goodness is running after me

Even when I rejected Him
Still, his soft loving voice is calling my name

In the darkest night He was close like no other,
He stretched out His arm towards me
And when I opened up my heart to receive His loving kindness,
He raised me up, to more than I can be.

His goodness was always there in my life,
But I will never forget that darkest night
Where His light shine so bright
Too bright that I can never ever doubt His goodness ever again.
