Ok, well I decided to completely redo this video with a new workflow I've been toying with.


Firstly I de-interlaced to 60fps for this copy, so the movement should seem a lot smoother.

Secondly I used a 10-bit color pipeline the whole way, using AI to interpolate 10-bit color depth from an 8-bit source

I did a lot of other edits here with the AR to get square pixels but not mess up the aspect ratio.

Lot of other stuff I'll get around to mentioning later. This video was sorta difficult to work with so i'm pretty happy with the outcome. It seems as though the DVD was an afterthought to the VHS and doesn't provide much improvement in quality... hopefully that was accomplished here.

I will be tracking this with charlie miller's 24-bit ultramatrix tracks from 4-17 and 4-18 1990, and will upload when finished.
