Through the years, many people have told me on their first day of guitar lessons, "I just want to play a song" - so that's what this video is for! 🎸This series is intended to teach you the basics of guitar by PLAYING ACTUAL SONGS in each video! 🎶 Of course, you'll still learn the foundational stuff along the way, but it'll be sprinkled in so you can still have fun and play your guitar while learning. 🤗

In this episode, we jump right into tuning your guitar and learning your first 2 chords, G and Cadd9 - some of the most popular chords used in today's music! 👍 Throughout this series, we'll dive deeper into topics like tuning your guitar, practicing chord transitions, and figuring out strumming patterns, but for this first lesson, I want you to concentrate on the fact that you CAN play something just minutes after picking up your 6 string!! 💕
