"Never Grow Old" - this is a song I wrote with Doug Liddle (Vancouver, BC) that was inspired by a near-death experience I had. The "rock n roll fortress" was something I toured while "dead": a beautiful ancient Greek temple of learning with an open courtyard where students would gather in small groups to learn from various specialized teachers. The checkered floor of the courtyard looked like it was made of black Alaskan diamond and emeralds. The courtyard was surrounded by huge Corinthian columns and the building around it was three stories high, with door after door on each level that led into other dimensions and experiences. The temple was suspended in sky/space.

A big thank-you to the incredibly tasteful Michael Lashinsky on electric guitar, the freakishly funky Mandy Shucher on bass, and the golden-throated Jeremy Shields on background vocals and percussion. And much appreciation to Josh Cook for shooting this video!
