It can be said that Chet Atkins and Fred Foster helped to make Charlie the success he is today-they heard his demos and encouraged him to stick with the harmonica and they started hiring him for all harp jobs in Nashville. Did you know that Charlie played drums too? He was in Stonewall Jacksons band as a drummer in the early 60s.
