'Hangman' Adam Page would debut for AEW at Double Or Nothing 2019. He was originally scheduled to face Pac but ended up being the surprise final entrant in the Casino Battle Royale which he would win getting a shot at being crowned the inaugural AEW World Champion. At All Out he would get his shot facing off against Chris Jericho but would lose to Jericho meaning Chris Jericho became the inaugural AEW World Champion. On the first episode of Dynamite Page would lose to a returning Pac but Page would get his win back at Full Gear.
After Full Gear 2019 Page would begin teaming with Kenny Omega leading to them defeating SCU's Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky to become the new AEW World Tag Team Champions. At the 2020 Revolution pay per view Omega and Page would defeat The Young Bucks to retain their titles. The Elite which included Adam Page would begin a feud with Chris Jericho's Inner Circle leading to a Stadium Stampede match at Double Or Nothing which also included a debuting Matt Hardy. Page would end up being kicked out of The Elite and Omega and Page would go on to lose the tag team titles to FTR at All Out 2020.
Page would face Omega at Full Gear to determine the next challenger to the AEW World Championship but would lose to Omega. In early 2021 both The Dark Order and Matt Hardy would attempt to recruit Page to their respective groups but both would initially fail. Page would defeat Hardy at Revolution 2021 with The Dark Order coming to celebrate his win after the match. Page would defeat Brian Cage at Double Or Nothing 2021 as well.
Page would begin to feud with Kenny Omega again following Road Rager 2021. Page and The Dark Order would face off against Omega, The Young Bucks and The Good Brothers at Fight For the Fallen but would lose. Page would be written off TV by being beaten down by Omega and others at Homecoming.
He would return at Dynamite's 2nd anniversary show winning the casino ladder match earning him a shot at the AEW World Championship held by Kenny Omega and at Full Gear 2021 he would defeat Omega to become the new AEW World Champion. Page would defend the title against the likes of Bryan Danielson, Lance Archer and Adam Cole before losing the title at Double Or Nothing 2022 to CM Punk.
Page would have his first match since losing the title against David Finlay and following the match he would call out IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada. Okada would lose the title to Jay White. Adam Cole would feud with Page leading into Forbidden Door. At Forbidden Door Jay White would successfully defend the title against Okada, Page and Cole.
