Description
I heard this arrangement played by James Taylor and YoYo Ma of George Harrison's tune and decided it would be a great training exercise to see if I could adapt it and perform it with only my voice and guitar. It's still rough, but I've not had this much fun learning something in a long time. The words took me back to my childhood reading of C.S. Lewis's "Lion, Witch and Wardrobe." I could almost hear the kids singing this as winter retreated as Aslan advanced.
Technical aspects... Let me know if you have questions related to my interpretation of their arrangement. I did it in F, (one capo up in standard tuning) plus a Kyser cut capo two frets above that (on the third fret) playing the song as if it were in D.
