【Music Legends You Should Know】Clara Haskil. An incredible Romanian classical pianist, born into a musical family in Bucharest. She showed other-worldly ability at just 4 years old—without ever having had a piano lesson, she played a Mozart sonata entirely by ear immediately after hearing it.

This was the start of a remarkable journey. Despite facing immense adversity and personal hardship, she rose to the very pinnacle of the classical music world, her life cut short by a tragic accident.

Her technique and musicality were legendary, and her playing is deeply moving and transcendent. To me, she is the embodiment of pure music, a beacon of light and a tremendous inspiration.
