Bluey and the band was so happy to see her as they all loved her music and had shared the stage with her in Atlanta when they toured the USA. Creative types being creative types, she was soon invited to join the chorus on the song "Racing Through The Bends" and accepted. Before leaving the studio Bluey asked her to bless the piano by playing a few notes. She started jamming and played a piece that she had recently composed. Bluey was enthralled and started singing along. She asked him if he would write a lyric, which he instantly and gladly accepted. Avery went back to the States and Bluey finished the song and demoed a vocal. The band upon hearing it all suggested that he keep the vocal on the album. Bluey was unsure and sent the song to Avery. She replied with a video message of her and her mother giving him the thumbs up with a beautiful message that he says he will treasure forever. The icing on the cake came when the band’s percussionist Joao Caetano invited fellow percussionist Jody Linscott to the session. She played a range of instruments creating the perfect atmospheric backdrop for the track.
