Well, it is a movie trailer produced independently by a filmmaker for the sole purpose of illustrating the concept, style, and theme of an upcoming feature film. Put simply, I use pitch trailers to illustrate what I would like to see in an unreleased movie. Sometimes these are franchise movies deep in production, and other times they are movies that Hollywood will probably never make.

Because we all love storytelling and can't wait to see what is next when it relates to our favorite franchises. Some people speculate and discuss what they want to see in upcoming movies, we do this visually using the pitch trailer format. A pitch trailer scratches an itch many have when waiting years for a movie's actual release.

Riley’s teenage years were a rollercoaster, but she always managed to bounce back. Now, as she transitions into adulthood, things are different. Something has shifted. The emotions that once guided her—Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust—are no longer the only ones at the console.

From the depths of her mind, new emotions emerge—ones too heavy to ignore. Depression, creeping in with exhaustion and self-doubt. Loneliness, whispering that she no longer belongs. And the one they all fear most… Grief, an unshakable force that changes Riley forever.

Unlike before, these emotions don’t just react to Riley’s life. They shape it. They don’t fade after a bad day. They stay. As Riley struggles with love, loss, and identity, Joy and the others must confront a terrifying truth:

They can’t protect Riley from everything.

In this new chapter, growing up isn’t just about change—it’s about survival. If Riley can’t learn to live with these new emotions, she may lose herself entirely.
