Today is Martin Luther King Day and there could not have been a more fitting occasion to release this song. Believe it or not, I wrote it 2 days ago, after late night conversations with my husband/producer, Devin Johnson. We talked about everything from politics and slavery to religion and record labels, and this song was the result.

We live in a time where the acceptance of others has become more important than the way we view ourselves. Insecurities are the result of how we think others may feel about us, based on standards we didn't even create. Imagine if we could TRULY be free...free from our insecurities, free from our fears, free from the harsh criticisms of others...and just live, Unafraid.
