This video is dedicated to Janie Grant. I toured with Janie, Little Eva, Linda Scott and Susan Summers when I was on the road with my first band, the Marketts. She was such a nice person. Her real name is Rose Marie Casilli and she doesn't like to be called "Janie" any more. She was 16 years old when I met her and this was her first hit which peaked at number 29 in the us billboard hot 100. Janie also had 2 more records which charted in the us "Romeo" and "That Greasy Kid Stuff" which reached number 74 and 75 respectively.

It's hard to read the inscription she wrote on her photo but it says,
"Mike (the Lover), It was nice ------- with you. You're a doll. Thanks a million for everything. Love Ya, Janie".

This was such a great time in my life and there are so many great memories but this one was special.
