If you're in doubt about the street musician's practical, but modest "suitcase drum kit," take note of Billy Conway's masterful technique in this haunting soulful song from Jeffrey Foucault’s "Salt As Wolves" (2015) album.

Sadly, as you may know, Billy Conway left us much too soon, on the day after his 65th birthday. According to his Wikipedia page, in October 2018 (14 months after this Roots & Blues Fest recording) he was diagnosed with bowel cancer, which later spread to his liver.
