Description

Faith is obedience to God’s calling, even when it goes against personal feelings, comfort, or human logic. It requires total denying of self and allegiance to Christ. This doesn't happen ignorantly-- we need to count the cost.

Counting the cost means giving up everything you've ever achieved, owned, or desired and surrendering them before God to use them however He wishes. For example, your life might seem completely at risk but you have faith you're in the hands of God, your heavenly Father, who remains faithful to His promises.

That whatever happens in my life, "to live is Christ and to die is Christ" (Philippians 1:21)
and "I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead." (Philippians 3:10-11)

God's will for us is to know Him more by living in the Spirit, not in the flesh. Therefore, we need to daily offer our lives as a living sacrifice, just as Jesus did (Romans 8:31,12:1-2, ‭and 2 Corinthians‬ ‭12:9‭-‬10)

So I ask:
What is your life?
What are your greatest accomplishments? Biggest fears? What is your identity and worth founded in?‬ How have you submitted your whole self to the Lordship of Jesus?
