"A New Day Yesterday" is a song from Jethro Tulls second studio album "Stand up" (1969). This album and especially this song still remained somewhat in the blues rock mold like the first album "This was" (1968). But it would be the last such album from Jethro Tull, because Ian Anderson wished to add other musical influences such as Folk Rock and even classical influences like the famous Bach adaption "Bourée" (also on and that album).
