In a high school competition, Carly was given the title "The Next Jim Brickman" by a panel of judges after submitting her instrumental piece to the In The Spotlight competition. She was selected as a finalist and performed "Angel Eyes" live on stage during the 2014 On A Winter's Night holiday tour.
