Well, I turned the big 3-0 today (EEK!), so here's my "birthday gift" to all my dear family & friends who filled my 30th b-day today w/ lots o' looooooove! ❤️ This is a video of me playing the classic jazz song "What a Wonderful World" @ Dawn & Wayne Thomas' wedding dinner (which I was so honored & delighted to play background piano music for on March 14th at the BYU Skyroom Restaurant)! 🎹 You can see the bride & groom at the beginning & middle of this video (& thx to one of the guests, John, for filming)! 📹

This is truly a wild, wonderful world we live in! 🌎 Even in the midst of this depressing pandemic & all the recent protests/violence, I'm grateful for "trees of green, red roses too...skies of blue & clouds of white...the bright blessed day, the dark sacred night...the colors of the rainbow...the faces of people going by...friends shaking hands...babies crying..." 🌳 🌹 ⛅️ 🌟 🌈 🚶‍♂️ 🚶‍♀️ 🤝 👶

Dawn & Wayne were originally planning to get sealed in the Provo City Center Temple on March 14th. 👰🤵 But when the coronavirus suddenly began cancelling/closing everything (including the LDS temples) on March 12th, they found out at 2 pm on March 12th that they'd have to get married that very evening in the temple before they closed for a long time! #flashwedding 😱 And this wedding dinner on March 14th was one of the final events held before BYU campus closed! #luckytiming 😜 Congrats to the happy couple! 🥳 And I loved seeing my dear friend, Janna Williams (one of the BYU catering managers) at this event! 🥰
