Some say this took place on December 12 1991. I've seen it posted as December 13 1991 but I'm pretty sure it took place on Thursday December 12, 1991 at The Paradise Rock Club in Boston. I do have my ticket stub somewhere.... I was there with my buddy Peter Hanson. He snuck in his Sony D6 recorder and a small hand-held Sony stereo mic. I seem to remember him passing me the gear to record at some point but that might have been at the Peter Frampton show a year later at the Paradise a few months after Steve Marriot died. He did a nice tribute to Steve and I will also post that show if I don't run too much trouble from the YouTube police...Thanks again to the late great Peter Hanson for being ahead of his time and being a bold and good person. Pete and I grew up in the same town where Johnny spent his last years and is buried. My childhood home is just two miles away from Union Cemetary and I was baptized at Christ's Church just across the street. RIP Johnny Dawson Winter III. The Lady In White and Johnny and his wife rest together.......
