Meet Me in St. Louis
"Meet Me in St. Louis" is a 1944 American musical film directed by Vincente Minnelli and starring Judy Garland. The film is based on the collection of short stories by Sally Benson, and follows the lives of the Smith family in the lead-up to the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis, Missouri. The film features a number of popular songs, including the title song "Meet Me in St. Louis" and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas." It is considered a classic of the musical genre and was nominated for four Academy Awards.
