The people over at @j0kertroupe hosted a week-long IC (iron chef) contest in collaboration with the Anime Central AMV dept (aka @spuddstaaa ) called Joker's Gambit: Yokai Unleashed where you choose a song from their pack and you could edit your AMV with the optional theme of "Yokai", but basically you can edit whatever anime, game, movie, tv show, etc as long as it was using one of the 200ish songs they had provided and was at least a min 30 long.

It looked super fun but I was slammed with work editing deadlines and had resigned myself to not being able to make a video before fun editing deadline (squidwardblinds.gif). On Friday I found out that they had extended the deadline by a day so I scanned through the songs for inspiration, picked one that I knew from TikTok, and used my off Saturday to do a quick fun little edit.

It's really rough and, sure, I could go back and fix all the messy sections, but I think it's more fun to just share exactly what the end product looked like when done in a day.
