The Meaning of the song:
Uma, the nick name for Maa Durga, is enquired of from her parental side as to how she could stay at her inlaws’ house with her husband Lord Shiva. Menoka feels concerned to know that her son-in-law lives on begging. People whisper that her son-in-law roams about in places like crematorium having taken ashes smeared all over his body. She is more concerned that her very dear Uma also follow his footsteps and does the same acts letting her golden body go astray.
