Time for some Swedish music! God morgon is good morning translated to English. This is a song by Swedish group Chips but it was also released by Kikki Danielsson as a solo artist. In the band Chips at this time was also Lasse Holm and Elisabeth Andreasson who is the other singer in this track. It is written by Holm and Torgny Söderberg. For those of you not from Sweden, Lasse Holm is a very famous songwriter and musician here all the way from the 70’s through today.

This is not something I normally listen to. I heard another song by Kikki Danielsson this week and remembered this song and that it was actually really good. Kikki Danielsson went to Nashville in the mid 80’s and had a pretty good career going in country music for a while. But here in Sweden she was mainly done a genre called dance band and that is something I don’t like at all. When I write this in English I understand that this might make no sense with dance band but I can assure you that it’s horrible.

I’m almost sure that its Mike Watson that is the bass player on this. Both Watson and Rutger Gunnarsson is credited in the album (and both played bass with Abba) but it is too straight forward to be Gunnarsson.
