On the 15th of February, the French vocal trio "Les Itinérantes" was at Matrix Rotterdam. After Gwendolyn Snowdon's concert, the stage was open for the guests. "Les Itinérantes" performed two songs. Here the girls are singing "Ulisse".
Corsican polyphony is a popular tradition that goes back to 9 AD. These songs based upon oral transmission were traditionally sung by men only. But recently it has opened to more and more female groups.
