About the Artist:
American-born singer-songwriter, Lhasa De Sela was raised between Mexico and the United States. She later lived in France and Canada, where she died (Montreal) from breast cancer, on January 1, 2010.

Her music style is considered folk. She released three studio albums between 1997 and 2009. Her debut album La Llorona (1997) was strongly influenced by Latin music with Spanish lyrics and influence.
