In this video, I present a piano tutorial dedicated to the main chord progression of the famous piece "Libertango" (first 16 bars of the original recording from 1974) by Astor Piazzolla. I have included both international and "Sol-Fa" chord notation, along with harmonic analysis. Please note that the chord indicated as Am7/G (and thus i^2) can perhaps more accurately be indicated as Am, since the G bass note is actually just a passing note descending by step. For the background melody, I used a sound reminiscent of the bandoneon to help follow the harmony, without any pretense that the sampled accordion might sound particularly pleasant.
