Wednesday, August 21st, we are celebrating another Art House staff birthday with a special screening of a film of their choice at the historic #babcocktheatre! This time, Tori Parker (who you may know as a local art teacher!) is celebrating with of their favorite films: Wes Anderson's THE LIFE AQUATIC WITH STEVE ZISSOU! We are so glad that Tori is working with us- she is a lovely person to talk to who can light up a room with ease! She's just got that pizzazz, you know?? Turning 20 years old this year, this Wes Anderson gem still holds up as an incredibly unique adventure story full of that unforgettable charm and whimsy that one expects out of Anderson's catalog! Renowned oceanographer Steve Zissou assembles his skilled crew on a quest for revenge, searching for a rare shark that killed one of his crewmates. One board with the crew is a man claiming to be Steve's son and a journalist who is pregnant with the child of a married man. On their perilous trek, the crew must deal with a number of unlikely encounters including pirates, creatures, and Steve's ex wife!
