There was not a dry eye in sight when this little boy was reunited with his grandpa after a year apart.

Mum Erica Lusher, 25, said her son Ayden burst into tears when he saw his grandpa Greg and his wife unexpectedly outside Erica's home in Owensboro, Kentucky on September 19th.

Erica said: "I was actually crying while recording the video. I did not expect my son's reaction, so it really touched my heart."

Ayden then went and stayed at the hotel with his grandparents for a couple days to spend some precious time with them while they were in town.
