The King's Academy's Jazz Ensemble performs "Little Brown Jug" by Joseph Winner, arranged by Paul Lavender.
The King’s Academy Jazz Ensemble held its 2nd annual Night of Jazz concert on April 6th, 2018 on its main stage in the new Page Family Center for the Performing Arts. World renowned jazz drummer, Duffy Jackson, headlined the evening along with guest artist and perennial local favorite, saxophonist Paul Magersuppe. The students rehearsed diligently to prepare a full length program of 13 songs from America’s songbook. Included in the audience was Jill and Rich Switzer, hosts of the morning show on local jazz radio station Legends 100.3, who gave a glowing review of the entire evening on their radio show. Directors of TKA's instrumental program are David Skinner, Wes Lowe, and Stephenie Revell.
