In the late sixties and early seventies, Solo Harmonites was one of the dominant steelband powers in Trinidad and Tobago.
With great leadership , supportive sponsors, arrangements by the great Earl Rodney and pans tuned by legendary tuner Alan Gervais, they seemed to be an annual fixture in winners row at Panorama.
Here is their Earl Rodney arrangement of Lord Kitchener's "Play Mas" , which tied with Starlift's performance for first place in Panorama 1971
