ALBA Consort (http://www.albaconsort.com) was formed in 2008 under the direction of artistic director Margo Gezairlian Grib and features four core accomplished artists of early music: Margo Gezairlian Grib, Haig Manoukian, Rex Benincasa, and Christopher Morrongiello. The word "ALBA" means white, the white light of dawn, and an ALBA is the troubadour genre of a morning song - a song of a lover as dawn approaches.

Dedicated to the ancient music of Medieval Europe on period instruments, ALBA Consort has performed at various Concerts in New York and elsewhere.
