New Gottaswing classes registrations are now open.
Janice & Glenn teach in Woodbridge, VA.
Sunday Nights, Sep 10-Oct 29, 2023 (8 weeks)
Beginner Class - 6-7pm (Practice time - 7-8pm)
Intermediate Class - 7-8pm (Practice time - 6-7 pm)
$140/person per class

This demo contains moves (simpler variations to be taught are not shown) planned to be taught the next session. Not all moves shown in the demo will be taught (i.e., we will teach the moves at a pace that will fit into 8 weeks).
***For example, the aerials will be NOT be taught in the normal Intermediate Class, but maybe taught individually. ***
We also normally include Fundamental Level moves from Beginner Class that ties the new moves together so that you can maintain your proficiency with those moves.
We will also teach the moves at a slower beat so that you can learn and solidify the moves before you attempt the moves at a faster beat.

Note: The 1 hour of extra practice time has been highly effective for people learning the moves. We will continue that for the next session, and probably future sessions.
When social dancing, you dance with others not in your class, so you may not be led through the moves that you just learned. Based on the above experience, having that practice time available is very effective in learning and solidifying the moves you were just taught...And that practice time is free to you as registered students.
