● 신중현과 더 맨이 연주한 사이키델릭 사운드
신중현은 자신이 결성한 수많은 밴드들을 통해 한국 전통음악과 록을 접목하는 음악실험을 거듭했다. 이 음반은 그의 음악이 정점에 달했던 시기에 결성한 더맨의 연주로 1973년에 녹음했다. 단언하건데 신중현-김정미 콤비가 이뤄낸 최고의 걸작이다. 파란하늘을 배경으로 빨간 코스모스와 김정미가 어우러진 커버 사진은 신중현이 직접 촬영했다. 코스모스는 사이키델릭을 상징한다. 앨범 발매 직후 김정미는 언론 인터뷰에서 "저만의 노래다운 특징을 찾아내려고 많이 연구했어요. 춤도 환각적이고 전위적인 율동으로 사이키델릭에 맞추어 연습하고 있어요. 이게 저의 참다운 모습입니다"라고 앨범에 만족감을 표했다.

​국내 LP 마니아들의 수집 대상이 되어온 김정미의 명작 'Now'의 2003년 1,000장 LP 한정 재발매반. 신중현 최고의 작품집으로 손꼽히는 작품으로 LP 마니아들의 열화와 같은 요청에 힘입어 소량 한정 발매되었다. 본래 작품의 디자인을 그대로 살려낸 수준급의 아트웤과 개별로 고유 번호가 마크되어 있어 특히나 높은 소장가치를 띠고 있으며, 재발매 사실 자체만으로도 팬들에게는 흥분을 감출 수 없는 아이템이다. 1972년 '가요정화조치'에 의해 금지곡 처분을 당하는 등 한국 대중음악계의 처절했던 수난을 상징하는 앨범인 동시에, 신중현의 전성기시절 작품성과 김정미의 묘한 매력이 조화를 이룬 한국 가요계의 보물같은 아이템이다.

■ The video I posted on YouTube was recorded on my cell phone (Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra), so the sound quality has dropped considerably, therefore, don't expect hi-fi sound quality from this video.
The actual sound with my audio system is much better than the recorded sound in this video.

■ Direct Live Recording, which is recorded directly on a mobile phone, has the disadvantage of containing daily noise, but it is a very useful way to compare the characteristics of audio devices in real life because it includes all the characteristics of the sound heard in the listener's ear at the end of the path played by the combination of audio devices.
