On a random Saturday evening I was working on a project with classical music on the background. Suddenly this piece started to play and I was immediately distracted from my work. I was absolutely moved and could only focus on the music. I then looked up the piano solo and lost myself in the music. I was determined to learn this piece even though the second part looked hauntingly difficult.

I started practicing this first in September 2020. I was able to play it fully around december-january 2021. Since about March I reached a point where I am satisfied enough, though the second part remains intimidating. With a glass of wine it doesn't though 😌.

Thank you Luke Faulkner for creating this masterpiece. So much feeling; I can't get enough of this.
