The wedding season is upon us and I already have an invitation through the post to my nephew’s celebrations which reminded me of this cheerful Scottish favourite we sung at secondary school.
Originally written in Gaelic by John R. Bannerman in 1938 it was translated into English by Sir Hugh Robertons in 1939. Find in 'Singing Together', BBC Schools radio, Summer 1981
