MARC ANTHONY RELEASES THE TROPICAL VERSION OF "A QUIEN QUIERO MENTIRLE" THE MOST RECENT SINGLE FROM HIS LATEST PRODUCTION "ICONOS"

New York, NY, April 15, 2011: Marc Anthony's fans will have a chance to listen to the tropical version of his most recent single "A Quien Quiero Mentirle" as it hits the airways across the nation this week. The original version was recorded as a ballad and the video for the title premiered in March.

"A Quien Quiero Mentirle" is one of two originals song included in the singer/songwriter and producer's latest CD and was composed by Anthony with the collaboration of Julio Reyes. This new tropical version was arranged by Angel "Cuco" Peña, who has worked in the past with Marc Anthony in the arrangement of songs in this style.

"Iconos" debuted as number one in sales in the US, Spain, Mexico and other key Latin American markets, and remained in the top spot for three weeks in the US. Almost a year after its release the album remains a favorite among fans and radio stations all over the world.

Most recently, the album earned Marc Anthony 6 nominations to this year's Billboard Latin Music Awards in the categories of: Top Latin Album Record of the Year; Top Latin Male Album Artist of the year; Latin Pop Album Record of the Year; Latin Solo Pop Album Artist of the Year; Concert Tour Artist of the Year and Latin Digital Album Record of the Year.

Marc Anthony will return to the small screen this June in a starring role on TNT's "Hawthorne", opposite Jada Pinkett-Smith. He is also preparing to launch a new clothes, accessories, and home products line for Kohl's Department Stores. Marc is working on his new salsa album, to be released sometime in the near future.
