Description
The Marche du Savoye is the official Royal March of the Duke of Savoy. It is most famous for having been played at the immediate aftermath of the Battle of Turin (1706), after the Imperial Piedmontese victory over the French Royal Army, to salute the fleeing enemy leaving Piedmont and heading for home.
