At the conclusion of his concert tour in Japan, UK recording artist, MAXI PRIEST, best known for his 1990 hit song “Close to You,” accepted an invitation from Osaka-based musician, Jeffrey Quest to attend a “nijikai” (“party after-the-concert.”)

Although Maxi and his band we exhausted from performing 2 shows at Billboard Live earlier that same night, and they were scheduled for an early flight from Tokyo to Honolulu the next morning, they decided to accept the invitation. Upon arrival at Club Zaza, Maxi was greeted with the Happy Birthday song and a custom-made cake. See a few highlights of the evening in our short video.
