This recording includes tape 1 sides A and B. This tape was recorded February 20, 1977 in Lonnie Robertson's home, Springfield, Missouri. Lonnie Robertson- fiddle, Gordon McCann- guitar. Gordon McCann mentions in his notes that this tape has a lot of good dialog.

Gordon and Lonnie talk about how they enjoy smaller groups better.

Lonnie likes the speed "Rochester Schottische" was just played. They both discuss banjos, and the fiddler's role in bluegrass music.

Gordon McCann's notes state that Thelma comes in and talks about a previous performance that Lonnie had. She says that Lonnie gets nervous when people rush him. She talks about how she and Lonnie made a living playing in West Virginia. Thelma says that she is nervous she would fall down performing since she was blind.
