📝: On July 31, 2025, mgk went on the Pat McAfee Show in Canton, Ohio. During this podcast interview, mgk talked about his new song 'dont wait run fast.' ESPN just announced ‘dont wait run fast’ by mgk as a new college football anthem for 2025-26 season, and mgk explained how the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl after party inspired him to write this testosterone-fueled song.

"I made this song the day after I played the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl party," mgk said. "But they [Kansas City Chiefs ] didn't win, and so we had to still play the party. You know who doesn't go to the after parties of the team who lost? Players, girls, anybody. I was like the headliner of it. I had to go play like an hour set versus like Quavo, Shaboozey, they [Quavo and Shaboozey] went to go, they got to play like one song and dip. For the past five years, I haven't played in front of a crowd that wasn't stoked. There was about four girls, and I'm playing a bunch of songs that I realized in that moment, I was, like, 'Man, these songs are kind of like for girls. Could have really used a song with testosterone right now.' And I got back to the studio the next day, and I was like, 'We need something that we could have played in that environment.'"

mgk's testosterone anthem, 'dont wait run fast,' will be featured on his new album, 'lost americana,' set to be released on August 8.

In February 2025, mgk played the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl after party in New Orleans, Louisiana.

mgk is very funny and hilarious. FYI: mgk is the best performer for any sports events.
