"Mi Bandera" is an Argentine military and patriotic march with lyrics by Juan Enrique Chassaing and music by Juan Imbroisi. The lyrics were composed in 1852, while the music was created in 1906. The march celebrates the Argentine national flag and the military triumphs during the wars of independence in Latin America. The song mentions the epic crossing of the Andes made by the liberator José de San Martín and highlights the liberation of a large part of the continent by the liberating armies of the United Provinces of the River Plate. The 20th of June is celebrated as flag day.
