Ending song taken from the Studio Ghibli's 1991 film "Omohide Poro Poro" [おもひでぽろぽろ] ("Only Yesterday").
The japanese lyrics were written by Takahata Isao (who also directed the film) and the singer is Miyako Harumi. It's a translation of Amanda McBroom's composition "The Rose".
"Ai wa Hana, Kimi wa sono Tane" [愛は花、君はその種子] means, in english, "Love is a flower, you are its seed".
