Description
This popular Chinese folk song was adapted and rearranged by Cheng Yu with both Piano and Chinese instrumental accompaniments. She was commissioned in 2004 by Youth Music for the SingBook project with 12 selected songs from different cultures for youth choirs. The book was published in 2005 and this song has since become the most performed song in UK schools. This video features North London Collegiate Junior Choir who won the 1st prize at the National Choral Competition in 2019 and performed at the Royal Albert Hall.
