And how it inspired so many to not only pursue the the "sport" of surfing but to also pursue or, rather, immerse themselves in the surfer lifestyle. The endless search for the perfect break and the relaxed, laid-back day-to-day life while doing so.

And this title theme song was the perfect embodiment of that idea, with its relaxed, almost lacksidasical feel to it.

Picture a surfer waking up early for a dawn session, spending a few hours out on the water while most are still sleeping, catching a few waves perfectly, soaking in the life energy of the ocean, and then heading in for some breakfast and a little chill time. With only thoughts of the waves just ridden and the waves to come later in the day filling his or her mind.
