Is The Answer In The Question?

The lyrics for this one are rooted in ancient greek philosophy. However, I’m just thinking out loud in this song.

I was always into writing and reading books as a kid, but the one thing that I didn’t expect to end up doing was joining the debate team.

This was my senior year of high school, and because I was doing shows constantly, I never went to an actual debate tournament. They were always held somewhere hours away on the weekends. I don’t know about you, but I wasn’t ready to spend my weekends debating total strangers when I could go out and play music with my best friends. So to the incredible frustration of my debate coach, I never competed in an actual tournament. Too busy playing punk rock!
