Flipside: PARADISE – Here is another really great ballad by Lenny Cocco and The Chimes. The Chimes hailed from Brooklyn NY. Group members were Lenny Cocco (lead), Pat DePrisco (1st tenor), Richard Mercardo (2nd tenor), Joe Croce (baritone) and Pat McGuire (bass).

The Chimes had 2 songs that charted nationally on Billboard. Their biggest and considered to be their signature song “ONCE IN A WHILE” was recorded in 1960 for Tag records and charted nationally in February 1961 for 18 weeks reaching #11. (Giant hit). Their 2nd song was “I’M IN THE MOOD FOR LOVE” also for Tag records which charted in May 1961 for 9 weeks and reached #38.

Hi everyone, Mrs. Mint here. I’m uploading “MY LOVE” today Weds. October 5, 2022 and dedicating it to Mr. Mint as he is celebrating his 78th Birthday.

I couldn’t think of a more appropriate song, as the words say, Mr. Mint will always be “MY LOVE”. The song was written by a very dear friend of ours, Lenny Cocco who is sadly missed!
