Description

Written by Joey Cooper and Delaney Bramlett. Arranged by Oliver Nelson and produced by David Cavanaugh.
Nancy Wilson made a number of hit recordings during the 60s, the biggest of which was “(You Don’t Know) How Glad I Am” in 1964. But the best was probably her version of the van McCoy song, “Where Does That Leave Me’ in 1965. More significantly, she had over 30 hit albums during the 60s and 70s.
Delaney Bramlett was the male half of the Delaney and Bonnie duo, who had a Top-20 hit with “Never Ending Song Of Love” in 1971.
“(You Got) The Power Of Love” was covered in the UK by Kevin Lear on Page One in 1968.
