Description
On a hazy summer night in Seoul, Netflix hosted its largest fan event yet — a massive victory parade to mark the final season of Squid Game, the streamer’s most-watched series ever.
The nearly mile-long procession started at the historic Gwanghwamun Gate and ended at Seoul Plaza, where tens of thousands gathered. The spectacle featured over 450 performers, a brass band playing the show’s eerie music, phalanxes of pink-suited guards, Squid Game-themed aerial displays, and even a towering 25-foot Young-hee doll shooting lasers from its eyes.
Creator Hwang Dong-hyuk and 25 fan-favorite cast members from across the three seasons joined the celebration. Netflix revealed the event took nearly a year to plan with the Seoul Metropolitan Government and drew an estimated crowd of 38,000 people.
